Are you recruiting on some other server besides Darktide?
No. Someone is suffering from delusions of grandeur. Their attempts to replicate us will fail.

What kind of monarchy is The Borg?
We are not a monarchy. We are The Borg. Together we form the Collective.

Are you PK or Anti?
We are "retributional". Our enemies are rPKs, whether they are members of a known rPK guild or hide beneath the cover of an Anti/Neutral guild. We do not initiate contact. If you attack us, we will return fire. If your friend attacks us, we will attack him. If you attack us because we attacked your friend after he attacked us then, well, you figure it out.

Borg are macros. Aren't all macros PK?
Due to the recent Combat Macro Ban, we no longer run unattended combat macros.

Isn't macroing against the AC CoC?
For 3 years, combat macros were not CoC violations. In December 2002, Microsoft and Turbine decided to change the rules. We have adapted.

I've seen Borg on TV and they're PK!
The Borg on DarkTide represent the Borg you know from TV in two fundamental ways:

1. We establish a Collective Conscious and we communicate with each other. If you attack one of us, we all know about it instantaneously.
2. We do not attack something until it is deemed a threat. If you leave us alone, we'll leave you alone.

But I heard that you're PK
Don't believe everything you read. Time after time, people that don't like us post on public boards or yell in a crowd, "Borg are PK". Don't believe it. If you take someone's word for it that we're PK and attack us, then you will automatically find yourself in our KOS database.

Why don't you drop a corpse?
When you die as many times as we do, you stop dropping corpses. Death is irrelevant.

How can I be assimilated into the Collective?
We are a closed guild. New members are assimilated by invitation only. All members must be devoted only to the Collective, must have strong anti-PK beliefs, must demonstrate maturity and respect for other players, and must be rerolled to be properly assimilated. You may express interest in joining by contacting us via email.

Can I have your macro?
No. Our technology is developed by Borg, for Borg only.

My monarchy is a Borg enemy. Is there anything I can do to not be a Borg target?
Pledge your allegiance to another monarchy that's not KOS.

Who are your enemies?
All members of rPK guilds are enemies. Individuals that attack us are enemies regardless of what guild they belong to.

I accidentally attacked a Borg. How can I be removed from your KOS list?
Contact the Collective and formally request to be removed. If you are not a member of a known rPK guild, we will give you a one-time reprieve.
